A handmade garment, the 'Flesh And Fur Jacket' jacket is displayed throughout the photo shoot, styled with two additional upcycled pieces; all by Savanneh Izel.
Flesh And Fur Jacket
Made of cotton canvas and lined with rayon, the jacket has an abundance of line work. Intricate stitching on both the front and back of the jacket and its lining make for a luxurious and insulated fit. Cropped at 18 inches, it is customized to flatter the upper body. The hood of the garment is bordered with faux fur. Originally dark brown, the garment has been oxidized entirely, creating a worn white at its exterior and a flesh and blood effect at the rayon fabric.
The two additional pieces include a recovered pair of Vera Wang pumps, and an oxidized and distressed denim jacket. Both are complimented with the same faux fur as the jacket, hand-sewn for both pieces.
